Certified Rock Steady Boxing coaches from Good Shepherd Rehabilitation lead a non-contact exercise program in the Lehigh Valley that attacks Parkinson’s disease at its vulnerable neurological points.
Rock Steady Boxing classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier and happier life. In particular, our experts focus on exaggerated movements to help you better manage your physical symptoms.
Our team leads classes that include speed/heavy bags, jump ropes, gloves and focus mitts. No boxing experience is necessary. We invite people of all ages and varying degrees of Parkinson’s/fitness levels to participate.
NOTE: Boxers must undergo a physical therapy evaluation prior to admission to our class.
